Here\u2019s what I\u2019ve learned over the past several years:<\/p>\n
1. Following your dreams will cost you a lot! In fact, it will cost you everything!<\/em><\/p>\n 2. Most things are far more difficult than expected but you can never give up.<\/p>\n 3. Knowing your \u201cwhy\u201d<\/em> is extremely important because you\u2019ll ask yourself this question time and time again. \u201cWhy am I doing this?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n 4. Exercise and diet are critically important.<\/p>\n 5. Like minded friends are lifesavers.<\/p>\n 6. Coaches, mentors and others who care about your dreams are vital.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As I think about all of the practical aspects of following my dreams<\/em>, I\u2019m very aware of the spiritual implications as well. I\u2019m thankful to God for His Grace and mercy because I know that without Him<\/em> none of what I\u2019ve learned and discovered would have been possible.<\/p>\n I\u2019m thankful to God for you and our relationship, I\u2019m thankful to God for my family and friends. I\u2019m thankful for the spiritual leaders in my life especially my pastors.<\/p>\n This Thanksgiving season reminds me of how truly blessed I am.
